About The African Children’s Education Foundation

The African Children’s Education Foundation is a human rights advocacy group that is backed by International human rights laws guaranteeing the right to education.

According to “The Universal Declaration on Human Rights, adopted in 1948, proclaims in Article 26: ‘everyone has the right to education.

Since then, the right to education has been widely recognized and developed by a number of international normative instruments elaborated by the United Nations, including the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1966, CESCR), the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989, CRC), and the UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education (1960, CADE)

The right to education has also been reaffirmed in other treaties covering specific groups (women and girls, persons with disabilities, migrants, refugees, Indigenous Peoples, etc.) and contexts (education during armed conflicts). It has also been incorporated into various regional treaties and enshrined as a right in the vast majority of national constitutions”

Our Mission

African Children’s Education Foundation is a newly established nonprofit corporation(NGO) and human rights advocacy group operating in Africa and the African diaspora proper to our target locations.
Our method is to:

• Study- We believe that in order to develop a sustainable solution to any problem, a proper study of the problem must be undertaken.

• Develop- From a profound study of the problem, the process of solution development is shaped in this phase of our program.

• Implement- Finally we implement at microcosm our solutions with ‘causes and effects’ taken in the study phase, intricacies in nature of the problem from the development phase and summed up we have an evidence based program ready for international application.

Our mission by naturally implied mandate is to work towards Bridging the Gap (Our motto), through empowering rural communities to generate industry thereby fortifying their local economies. The African Children’s Education Foundation also provides access to small scholarships for talented young people through projects like our ‘Talent Academy’.

The focus of the Talent Academy is on arts and sciences in support of fostering an atmosphere of industry creation in present and coming generations.
The team at African Children’s Education Foundation understands that our mission is to a great extent predicated on availability of enabling technologies, technologies such as the internet coupled with constant electricity, powered by green sources; therefore we’ve developed an approach which has been proven to have profound impacts on the environment or if preferred the Nurture aspect in the ”Nature vs. Nurture debate.

Africa has a projected growth of 2.7% per annum, this means that Africa has one of the highest estimated growth in youth population globally; this shift comes with an impact in the quality of life, as many African nations have failed to prepare for this reality.

ACEF’s efforts are to preempt this dynamic shift in population growth, by targeting key points around of the African continent with a tailored program for addressing educational issues of impacted communities around Africa.
